‘Love the dress’ is our take on the trash the dress concept. Instead of deliberately damaging your dress, we feature it in your own fashion-inspired photo shoot.  We met Alice when we photographed her with husband Ed and their lovely baby Luke. When I was at their home I noticed Alice’s wedding dress hanging up. She didn’t take much persuading to come for a photo shoot and another chance to wear it.  Alice was pampered by our hair and makeup artist at the studio before we headed off to some of my favourite urban and indoor locations.

With gales forecast and a storm that woke me up it seemed that the weather gods would put paid to a shoot for the first time this year.  Surprise then that by the time Evonne and Alex called to say they were on their way it was actually sunny, albeit cold and windy.

This shoot was another chance for me to work with Toni Perryman from Toni Creative who created the great looks for Evonne’s hair and makeup.

We started with a couple of shots in our studio before venturing out into the countryside:

Then a quick change of look and back out to an urban location.  By now it was pouring with rain and very cold.  My favourite from this session is this one in the car park

Wow.  It was brilliant to see Catherine again and looking fabulous in her wedding dress. She and Simon got married last February (her wedding pictures are here).  For this shoot I teamed up with international hair and makeup artist Toni Perryman (her website is here).  Toni created two brilliant looks for Catherine and the weather and Autumn leaves did the rest.  More images from this shoot to come, but in the meantime here’s a sampler.  Thanks to Catherine for her good humour and being up for it!  Thanks to Toni for her talent and creativity.
